004: Mara and the Lakes Cultural Safari  Day
1. Nairobi - Masai Mara. Depart from Nairobi in the morning through the South along the floor of the Africa's Great Rift Valley. Lunch enroute. You will drive past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemmingway's county " Serengeti Plains" Arrive late in the afternoon. Game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Day 2. Masai Mara. Full day in search for a touch of an Elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plain games. All meals and overnight at the Lodge/ Camp. Day 3 . Masai Mara Full day game viewing in the Mara with an optional nature walk or visit to a nearby Masai Village. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/ Camp . Day 4. Masai Mara - Nakuru After breakfast leave the camp/ lodge and depart for Nakuru. Lunch is served enroute. Lake Nakuru is renowned for it's variety of world famous birds. It's possible to see other game such as Rhino, Waterbucks, Impala just to name but a few. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/ Lodge .  Day
5. Lake Nakuru - Lake Baringo. Morning spent viewing game at lake Nakuru and in the afternoon proceed to Lake Baringo. Optionally you would take a boat ride to a small Island in the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/ Lodge . Day 6. Lake Baringo - Lake Bogoria. Explore on foot this natural lake and view the flamingoes in their thousands. Caution must be taken while walking along the hot springs as these are super hot! Depart for Nairobi in the afternoon via Nakuru. |
